This page is about making informed treatment decisions — not which treatment I chose, but how I got there.
I’m Chloe Cross, and I built this site for one reason: to make the case that you should armor yourself with information before you choose a treatment path — any treatment path — instead of doing what I did for a decade, which was nothing more than showing up and agreeing.
I lived through three separate chronic skin conditions over two decades. Each one, I treated differently. Acne, I let happen to me — every product, every prescription, no questions asked, for ten years. Eczema, I researched for the first time in my life, weighing a dermatologist against a functional medicine practitioner before choosing. Psoriasis, I walked in already knowing how to ask, and it still took the better part of a year to heal. Three conditions, three decisions, and the biggest difference between the first and the last two wasn’t the diet or the treatment — it was how much I actually understood before I started.
That’s the whole site. Not a protocol, not a product, not a practitioner referral. A record of what happened when I stopped complying and started asking. Every story here comes back to the same idea: informed treatment decisions, made deliberately, beat default ones every time.
You Won’t Find My Face Here
That’s on purpose. This isn’t a personal brand, and I’m not trying to build one. What I want you to trust isn’t me — it’s the pattern: three conditions, three research processes, one repeating lesson. That holds up whether or not you know my face.

What I’ll share instead is the part that actually matters: the before-and-after. These are real, they’re mine, and they’re the only proof I have to offer that any of this happened the way I said it did.

The Only Thing I’m Actually Asking
I’m not asking you to choose the same treatments I chose, trust the same practitioners, or eat the same food. I’m asking you to do one thing before you choose anything: find out what you’re actually saying yes to. What it’s supposed to do. What happens if it doesn’t work. What happens if you stop. Whether anyone’s asked about your diet, your stress, your sleep — or just handed you a prescription and moved on.
That’s it. That’s the whole ask. Everything else on this site — the three stories, the questions I bring to a practitioner now, the guide — exists to make that one thing easier to do.
And if you want the shortcut version of that one ask — the actual questions, organized and ready to bring with you — that’s The Practitioner Checklist.
